CITB Practice Test

Refund Policy

Every question on the site is free to revise, and you can take a timed mock test without paying. Please try the free mock test before you buy a plan, so you know the questions and the site suit you.

Payments and refunds are processed securely by Stripe.

Not sure yet? Take the CITB Operatives mock test for free first, then compare the plans on the pricing page.

1. When you can get a refund

For the Monthly Plan and the Yearly Plan, you get your money back in full when both of these are true:

  • you ask within 3 days of the payment, and
  • you have used the paid features for 2 hours or less in total.

1.1 Renewals

This covers the first payment of either plan and every renewal. For a renewal, the 3 days and the 2 hours count from the renewal date. We go by the time your email arrives, not the time we reply. You do not need to give a reason.

2. The Weekly Plan is not refundable

The Weekly Plan is made for the final week before your test, so a weekly payment cannot be refunded once made. You can cancel it anytime so it does not renew. Try the free mock test first if you are unsure.

3. How we count use

Use means time spent on mock tests, missed-question drills and custom quizzes while your plan is active, as recorded on your account. Reading the free topic pages does not count.

4. Charges made in error

We always refund a charge made in error, such as a duplicate payment, whatever the plan and however long ago it was.

5. How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and say which payment you want refunded. We aim to reply within 2 working days.

The money goes back to the card you paid with. Stripe sends it straight away, and most banks show it within 5 to 10 working days. A refunded plan stops working when the refund is made, and we cancel it so it does not renew.

6. When we do not refund

We do not refund a payment after 3 days, after more than 2 hours of use, or for a Weekly Plan payment, except where the law requires it, the charge was made in error, or we closed your account ourselves.

You can still stop any plan at any time: cancel anytime under Manage billing in your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.

7. Please contact us before disputing a charge

If a charge looks wrong, email us first. We can usually sort it out the same day, which is faster for you than a bank dispute. The business name on your card statement may differ from the name of this site, so check the date and amount against your Stripe receipt.
